This had been a big day for this little leopard cub. He and his two siblings had watched his mother bring down a wildebeest just after dawn, and followed her as she brought the kill back to a tree where she and the cubs spent the rest of the day leisurely feeding. It was finally getting dark, and all three little guys were getting very sleepy. This one looked just a little sad to me, as the big day came to an end. I took the image with a Canon 7D Mark II with EF 100 - 400 f/4.5 - 5.6 IS II USM lens with 1.4X III teleconverter. The settings were 1/8 sec at f/ 8.0, ISO 6400, 560 mm.
