This is White river canyon on the southeast side of Mt. Hood in Oregon. In May of 2020, when the Covid induced " lock downs" were at their peak, I decided one evening to drive up to the Mt. Hood national forest for some sunset photos. Unfortunately when I arrived ALL the trailheads and parking areas where closed due to the virus. And it was raining... Instead of giving up I decided to just park on the side of the road in a safe spot where I new there would be a nice view of the mountain if the weather cleared slightly. So I hiked a short distance along the White River to a spot where I waited in the wind and rain for a view of Mt. Hood. Finally, after about an hour the mountain broke through the clouds for about 30 seconds and I managed to get this photo!
