Since I have lived in this area for years, I have had multiple occasions to photograph the bluebonnets. I am always looking for a different or unique perspective. I decided to try my luck at photographing the bluebonnets during a spring storm. The trick was staying ahead of the weather. I did not want to photograph through the rain, and the wind would prevent a crisp clear picture. The timing and the elements worked out to create this image.
