Flowers and Shadows in the Temblor Range

Description

Some passing cumulus clouds cast shadows on the hills of the Temblor Range adjacent to Carrizo Plain. The range is named "Temblor" because the San Andreas fault cuts through the area, creating earthquake hazard. But those same geological forces create a beautiful range of hills, valleys, etc. The shadows from the clouds just add to the drama of the scene.
