It all depends on where the flowers happen to bloom in a given year.

Instead of capturing a field of static flowers, I wanted a more abstract image creating a wave of color to capture the spring breeze. The key to this image is to have enough flowers in crisp focus so that the blurred flowers stand out and create a distinct pattern in the picture. In this image, I wanted the movement of flowers to mimic a flowing stream.
