One Tree

Fall is just beautiful in Northern Maine and this year is no exception. I woke up before the sun and drove the short distance from Houlton to Oakfield. Through the fog and the twilight I saw this tree out in a field surrounded by fog. I parked the truck and walked across the field and started to compose the shot. Then the sun crested the horizon lighting the tree and the fog in the distance. As I clicked the shutter I knew there was no place I'd rather be.
