When I first arrived at my hilltop location near Sutton, West Virginia, the cattle were a ways down the hill. But, curious as cattle ever are, they slowly made their way towards the barbed-wire fence that separated us. These two initial visitors worked well as a foreground element, and I decided to use my 24mm lens to better include them along with the rising sun. Later in the morning, I found myself frequently switching positions along the fence line as about ten or so cows were determined to grab my attention. An interesting challenge!
