“Planet Baffin”
While looking around for Polar Bears in Baffin Island, we came across this Iceberg which seemed to give us a Vantage point to search. Our guide climbed up there, no problem! I said may be I could do it as well. After sliding and slipping and falling multiple times in attempts to climb, I was able to be up there. FORGET THE POLAR BEARS!! The pattern of ice was so gorgeous, beautified by fresh now pockets all over the place, that I had to photograph them, despite our guide telling us we will need to move soon. I had to curse myself MULTIPLE TIMES as when I reached for my ultra wide lens, I could not find any. I had left it all the way down. Not risking the short time we had up there, I had to use the 28-300 lens (my general use lens which I kept with me "just in case"). It was just so blue even on this harshly cold and gloomy day. Nature never seizes to amaze me!
