Description

This cloud was a true Sierra Wave cloud. By that I mean it stretched from Bridgeport all the down to Olancha (170 Miles along the Eastern Sierra). A seven photo panorama was the only way to capture the super long lenticular cloud. The cloud also hung around until sunset and my oh my, it was a magnificent sunset. The huge cloud reflected so much amber orange color that everything from the mountains to trees, and even the water was an orangish red hue. Sunsets like this only happen once, maybe twice a year (if you are lucky) and this time I capture the before, during, and after of this Sierra Wave cloud.
