An Alaskan Fishing Boat on a Sea of Glass

The skies in Alaska are like nowhere else--vaulting clouds of icing or shifting fields of mist, always changing, always morphing into a new landscape.

While leaving Kake, Alaska, at around 9 p.m. on a late summer night, we spotted this little fishing vessel coming into port underneath a cotton candy sky. Nikon Z7II and NIKKOR Z 14-24mm ƒ2.8 S lens.
