Fish Tale

I was out photographing the birds at the Katherine Albertson Park ponds and wetlands when I spotted this blue heron standing at attention waiting for a fish to swim by. I sat down on the bank and trained my camera on it to see if it would catch a fish. After about 30 minutes of waiting, I was quite surprised when it leaped into the water and came up with a large black bass. It took quite an effort for him to get the fish to the shore.
