See Forever

From Gatlinburg, TN take US441 South through the GSMNP. Just after passing Newfound Gap, turn right on Clingman's Dome Road. In 7 miles, you will arrive at the parking lot. Once you find a place to park (you might have to park in one of gravel areas along the road), it's a steep half mile hike to the top.

After we walked up to Clingman's Dome in The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, we were heading back down. I was hunting for an interesting view that showed the beauty of the park. Many people taking pictures passed this spot without stopping. I really liked how the fir trees in the foreground gave another layer to the mountains. Taken with a Nikon D3400 with a Nikkor 18-55mm closing down the aperture as much as possible for a handheld shot with winds gusting over 40 mph.
