At the Oak Creek feeding station hay is dropped each winter by volunteers at 1:30 pm. But the real action starts before that so arriving early. You can watch the elk come down from the highlands. Long lens and warm clothes are a must to capture these Rocky Mountain Elk as they navigate the rocky terrain.
