Hemlocks by the Falls

With Hocking Hills State Park practically at my back door, I have photographed Cedar Falls and the park’s other main features many times. On this visit, rather than replicating the usual photograph of making the falls the main subject, I decided to emphasize the hemlocks that surround it instead. In composing this shot, the rule of thirds seemed to be the best guideline with which to capture the scene.
