Pemaquid Lighthouse

I am not sure where we were-just somewhere north of Boothbay Harbor.

I had never heard of this place until myfriend told me we were going there. I was grateful for the fabulous photo experience.

A friend and I were on our way to Acadia National Park. She said we had to get up very early to drive to a lighthouse for a sunrise shot on our way there. I took her word for it and we took off in the dark and drove for an hour and arrived in the dark. We were the only ones there and I thought to myself "what could be here that was so great." We found this water puddle and laying on our stomachs, side by side, waited for the sun to come up to this wonderful scene. It was so very much worth giving up some sleep for!
