Young elk sparring

I watched these guys for an hour. They would peacefully graze side-by-side until one would nudge the other, and he would nudge a bit back, maybe lean a hip. Next thing you know, the antlers were clacking and their impressive power was on display as they pushed each other back and forth. Until they suddenly stopped and began grazing again. That day I learned that elk play. Who knew?
