Misty Mossy Falls

One of my favorite cascade image came to fruition last summer after several attempts - literally a labor of love. These mossy cascades are located in NH's White Mountains after a challenging hike. I needed to time my visit during a rain event to produce the flow I wanted in the image, but the lighting is never predictable due to mountain weather. This attempt proved to be the winner for me, when flow and lighting through the dissipating clouds gave the mood I was after. Normally these conditions exist in the Pacific Northwest, but creating a NH image that gave the same feel was a real joy for me.
