I rose early to drive out to Lamar Valley in Yellowstone National Park for sunrise. On my drive out, the windows were down as it was a cool but pleasant morning. As I came through Little America I heard coyotes in the distance. I stopped to enjoy the moment when I noticed this pronghorn buck doing the same - although he was probably more concerned about the potential threat than the enjoyment of the barking and howling. As he stood on the ridge, the morning sky just started to illuminate and I saw the opportunity for a silhouette photo of the buck on the ridge.
