This photo provided challenges to compose. After scouting the location during the day when I returned at night I was surprised to find light pollution from a nearby town and street lights to the right and from behind.
I finally realized that I could use the light pollution to backlight the barn and I was able to position the street light that was on the right behind the tree, effectively hiding it.
The street light behind me? It ended up giving me just the right amount of light to illuminate the barn and the fields.
I ended up having just enough room to fit the scene within the border of the photo.
