These rocks come and go, based on tides and sand deposits.
The clouds during the winter are always the most dramatic. "June Gloom" envelops the California coastline more and more every year leaving amazing cloud opportunities even more rare. This was one of those circumstances as I saw these an hour before sunset, grabbed my gear and headed to the coast. Was lucky enough to find this small cove in which the rounded sea stones mimicked the alto-cumulus clouds in the sky.
