Weekly photo assignments from the editors of Outdoor Photographer Magazine
At this time of year, my morning commute gives me incredible views of dawn and the rising sun (if I get a late start). There’s a feeling of tranquility in those moments as night fades and the horizon begins to glow in advance of the first rays of sunlight. Even a huge city like Los Angeles looks peaceful in these moments (at least until I hit the freeway). For this week’s Assignment, send in your photos that convey the feeling of early-morning solitude and calm. Enter by midnight, February 15. —Christopher Robinson, Editor
