Description

On an overcast, sleeting morning in September, 2009 I was on the trail from Bear Lake to Nymph Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. The wet, colorful rocks on the trail floor were punctuated by some of the yellow aspen leaves which were falling along with the snow/rain mix. One of my favorite guidelines in photography is to keep an eye on the ground as well as on the horizon.
