This is a fairly popular location on McGee Creek for fall color images. On this morning, I got to the location early and spent some time carefully composing the scene to hopefully get a slightly different perspective on the s-curve in the creek. I wanted something that emphasized more of the dynamic streamflow in the foreground along with the fallen leaves and green grass. I used a wide angle lens set at 13mm, and an exposure time of 1/6s to slightly blur the streamflow. Fortunately, by the time other people started showing up and wandering along the stream banks, I had the images I wanted!
