Description

The Colorado River is still carving Grand Canyon deeper at a rate of the thickness of a piece of paper every year. Some of the oldest exposed rock in the world can be seen at the rivers edge at the bottom of Grand Canyon. In this photo I wanted to see into the river and understand the relationship between the rock and the water that has been happening for millenniums.I wanted to represent the contrast of the water and the rock with the vertical and the horizontal in the composition.
