I decided to take a sunset hike up to Exit Glacier in Kenai Fjords National Park to hopefully capture some color in the sky above the top of the ice field. As I started the trail, several hikers coming down the trail warned me of a black bear on the trail. After I passed the point where the hikers said they saw the bear I didn't think anything more of the animal. As I arrived at Exit Glacier, a gust of wind carried off my hat. After I grabbed it and placed it back on my head, I turned around and there he was - a black bear walking across the glacier. He paid me no mind as I snapped several shots of him before he wandered off of the top onto the ice field. Taken in Kenai Fjords National Park, Alaska.
