Assignment #21: Flowers II

I spent last Saturday with former OP editor, Rob Sheppard hiking in the mountains near Los Angeles. We were both pleasantly surprised to see an explosion of wildflowers blooming and that got me thinking that a second Flowers Assignment is in order. The first Flowers Assignment was about a month ago and since then, all sorts of new and colorful species have erupted around the country.
