This was taken from a trail which started just off to the right of where most people go to see Zabriskie point. Look for the trail heading straight up!

Description

This perspective gave me some trepidation as I was on a narrow ridge looking down upon the peaks and valleys of Zabriskie Point. Some days I'm ok with heights, some days not. Between the wind gusting and the weight of my backpack making me feel unbalanced, I felt I might go over the ridge at any time. Once I was set up, with barely any room to move around my tripod, I wasnt keen on moving around much. This really forced me to look closely at the scene and really meditate on the it. Looking down and to my left I noticed a group of photographers. They provided the only real sense of scale across the entire area, so I set them up in the bottom left hand corner of my viewfinder to catch as much of the scenery as I could while.
