I shot this standing in the middle of the river and very low to the water to get this perspective. I used a 17 mm tilt shift which was shifted to keep perspective control and went for a 10 sec. exposure to create flow lines in the water as part of the composition.
On a recent foggy morning I headed up to Rondout Creek in the Catskills where I knew I would find the lush greens of late spring. The moss always gets this unbelievable bright color. Finding a composition with some fresh ferns was just a bonus.
