Description

Only in the early summer can you find the Corn Lilies in bloom.. and only after a heavy winter and spring run off in the Sierras will you find the corn lilies in their full glory. This is a photo of just one of the leaves of the corn lily plant. It is topped with a beautiful array of white flowers that makes it an exceptionally beautiful wildflower of the Stanislaus National Forest. This photo was taken in 2008 after an exceptional heavy winter.
