A beautiful clear September morning in Grand Teton National Park. There was no wind, the clouds were just starting to build up for a storm that would hit the park later in the afternoon. I try to make it over to the park every fall during the Elk rut, and sometimes the weather is great and other times not so great. This day would bring me a great chance to capture the shot I have always wanted to get. I set up and got ready for the sun to start lighting up the tips of the Tetons. This shot is composed of 12 bracketed shots and different exposure values, then combined using Photomaix Pro 5. This was one of the best trips I have had to the park, and this is one of those reasons I go back year after year.
