Off Highway 64 west of Car
I was disappointed by the lack of clouds that morning and decided to just scout a new location for future use and found this spot in an area that had intrigued me for quite a while. I managed to get there just before the sun rose over the trees on the opposite side of the lake. I didn't even know about the ripples at the bottom until I saw them on the computer screen later that day, a very lucky element.
High water flooded an area usually dry this early spring morning after a very cold overnight causing mist to rise off the water. Taken moments before the sun peeked over the trees on the opposite side of the lake.
