From Ridgeway toward Dallas Divide, drive down one of the dirt roads to the very end and you'll see the pond on the right.
Although I was there when it should have been peak fall color, much of Dallas DIvide was still green, so be prepared for variations on when the peak season will fall.
After searching several dirt roads, finally came to the end of one that had this small beaver pond. Luckily it was calm and the snowcapped peak was mirrored in the water. The aspen trees were at or near peak. It has better lighting in the afternoon and I got there just before the light left the peak. It would have been better had I found it earlier when more of the mountain was in sunlight.
