This was my second visit to the Schonbrunn Palace, the first visit being approximately 14 years earlier, and everything was as I remembered it. This time I just visited the gardens as it was just an awesome place that presented many photographic compositions. Go in the early morning because it is cooler and is not crowded until the tours show up. The Habsburg family ruled the Austrian Empire and created this masterpiece palace that was built and rebuilt many times with each successor monarch for over 300 years. Who would have thought that their ponds and landscaped gardens that were created hundreds of years ago could capture photos like this; the reflecting water appears to grow clouds like the water lilies.
