8 sec @ f8, 200ISO, Singh Ray Vari-ND filter. On this day I'm glad I followed the advice of the great Ansel Adams, "f8 and be there". It was an especially cold and windy March afternoon with a storm approaching, the kind of weather most people in the area avoid, cold or not this Floridan was not about to pass up some great light. The temperature was in the 20's with blustery 20-25mph winds out of the north, and my hands were cold even with 2 pairs of gloves on. The clouds were racing by and the sun was occasionally peeking thru selectively lighting different areas of the lanscape. The tide was low so I setup close to the watersedge and proceeded to experiment with various exposures. It was kind of hit and miss with the quick lighting changes but I liked the effect of good old "8&8" on this one.
