As the rains were prevalent all over Glacier National Park, I was waiting for the opening of the Going To the Sun Road . Driving as far into the Park as I could , I stopped at the shores of Lake McDonald to capture early morning clouds and the rich color palette of the forest. As I walked to the water's edge and turned around , I had this wonderful scene at my feet. The rains stopped long enough to capture this reflection in the lake , which turned out to be my best image of the trip. I didn't use my polarizer so I could maximize the tree's reflection in the lake.
