Power And Tranquility

One of my favorite places to visit is Bench Lake in the Mt. Rainier National Park. With just a short hike of about one mile you can visit this lake and witness the reflection of the mountain and a tranquil moment if the air is calm. Patience will help when looking for still water. This area is not easily accessible in the winter once the snow starts. Clouds can also be a challenge, but can be an amazing addition to the scene if they don't completely engulf the mountain.
