On Folly Beach's northernmost point, there is a stretch of beach only reachable by walking about half of a mile north from the last public beach access. What can be found is a secluded, natural beach setting with great views of Charleston and her surrounding waterways. A walk along the beach toward the inlet reveals large, water-drenched, bark-stripped logs that look amazing at sunset.
There are few sunsets more memorable than those seen over the inlet on Folly Beach. This driftwood makes the perfect subject with the sun in the background around eight p.m.
