It was one of those sunsets you keep your fingers crossed behind your back for. The ones you think, "Better start walking back." But something keeps you there, tells you not to go. "Fifteen more minutes," I mumble to myself. Then as if Moses was parting the Red Sea, the light began to illuminate the rain. The warmth grew slowly at first, then brighter and brighter until everything was bathed in ambient gold light. Being blessed with views of nature such as this is why I fell in love with nature photography. So I can share these moments with all of you. And to motivate you to get out there and experience it for yourself first hand. Because even if you get out for only a half an hour and hike just a half mile, you're still lapping people on the couch.
