There can be no doubt that Yosemite is majestic, in and of itself. But this grandiose scene exudes magnificence in duplicate, blurring the lines between reality and reflection. Picture this scene inside a kaleidoscope and you will see earth tones here contrast perfectly with the blue sky, which, in turns, takes the shape of the hourglass of time. The mirrored mountains in the stillness of the lake are like a butterfly spreading its wings. Offering a horizontal arch of snow, this winter version of the scene will soon be complemented by a summer shot upon my return to California in summer. I took this shot with Canon Mark III.
