I shot this during the best road trip of my life! I took a 3000+ mile roadtrip up into the Canadian Rockies and back down through the Pacific Northwest. This was shot on a day where I spent the night near the Athabasca Glacier on the Icefields Parkway in Jasper National Park. I drove from there, down to Banff National Park, and then all the way across British Columbia, finally driving through the BC coastal mountains before re-entering Washington near Bellingham. It was easily the single greatest road trip day of my life, and this photo sums up that experience. Rainy, misty and isolated somewhere southwest of Lillooet, Brisith Columbia near Duffey Lake, this photo always brings back that amazing feeling of being in the British Columbia coastal mountains. I probably saw 5 cars at most between Lillooet and Pemberton.
