Description
I had hiked out to a position very early in the morning to be set up for a sunrise shot I had scouted the day before. Hoping for the absence of footprints I thought I was early enough to beat the hikers who play the friendly dance with the photographers of who can be first - the shot taker or the footprint maker. As I waited for the light to be right I turned 90 degrees and saw this lone hiker. I quickly turned and snapped off a large number of shots trying to catch him in mid stride before he got too far along to the peak of the dune.
