Brief Directions
I used the Nisqually entrance to locate the Bench Lake trail in Mt. Rainier National Park.
Notes
The clouds were very thick and not much was visible when I first arrived. The clouds cleared a little allowing the mountain to show, but there was no light getting through to the trees. I did trip the shutter a few times, but with the intent of a black and white image there was no pattern in the light and too much dark area in the trees. I stayed awhile longer and finally the clouds opened enough to allow the cast of light in the image. Patience needed? Yes!
Description
Made a short hike in the afternoon to Bench Lake (about a mile I believe?) on a cloudy day. Waited for the mountain to appear out of the clouds.
