At the end of the public access of Quien Sabe Rd, just outside Tres Pinos, CA is a small valley with a bit of history. This area was found while literally taking a Sunday drive; exploring the area after an acquaintance mentioned several raptors were in the area after farm fields had been turned over. Late afternoon light through some thin clouds in the early winter provided spots of light in an otherwise plain scene. The two surround hills have been provided legitimate placenames—Cibo Peak and Schoolhouse Ridge. I have dubbed the small hill in this photo to be Water Tank Hill, as all of the topographic maps mark a water tank to the left of the hill, just outside the frame.
