Bear lake moonset on Dec 26. I wanted to go up and shoot the full moon on Christmas eve but it was cloudy so I went the next morning. My plan was to shoot sunrise to the east and moonset to the west at the same time in a pano but in this pocket I could not catch sunrise before the moon set which was 830 am this morning. When I got out of the truck it was -13 degrees but luckily I had just purchased a new Mt Hardware expedition coat for an upcoming winter trip to Utah. Nice and toasty except taking my hands out of my gloves to change settings. I love when the environment is harsh as it keeps the memory of the day that much more alive.
