Yosemite National Park is beautiful any time of the year...but just last week, beginning January 11th 2016, I had the opportunity to spend four days within the Park and what a marvelous photo opportunity I experienced. Plenty of snow on the Valley floor and plenty of cold weather which helped the snow to remain. There was a magnificent 'snow cone' that had formed at the base of upper Yosemite Fall...Half Dome was in its glory with snow crowning its peak...and fog forming throughout the meadows to give my beloved Yosemite a sense of mystery. This photo is a favorite of mine...one of the many bridges crossing the Merced ...with a hint of fog drifting above the river. I hope you enjoy this scene as much as I did.
