Springtime in the Smokies invokes luscious greens in the foliage, dogwood blossoms, and a variety of wildflowers which are in bloom and blanket the forest floor. Tremont is one of my favorite places to photograph within the Smokies as it offers beautiful scenery and is often times devoid of people offering quiet surroundings. This image was taken at an often photographed spot towards the end of the gravel road path that winds along the Mid Prong Little River. The water flow was strong on this particular day and with little no breeze I was able to capture a long exposure while keeping sharp details in the trees. f22, ISO 100, 6 sec at 31mm.
