This is a 9-shot 180 degree composite of the panorama visible from Chessman Ridge viewpoint in Cedar Breaks National Monument taken about an hour ofter sunset. The elevation is approximately 10,500 feet. The Milky Way and setting moon are visible above the formations of the monument along with lights from St. George and Cedar City in southern Utah. Cedar Breaks and this area in general are listed as some of the best places to view stars and scenes such as these.
