Description
Taken from the snow covered access road to the Jeddediah Smith Wilderness Area on the West Slope of the Teton Range in Idaho. It was a very cold and clear sub-zero night, and I could barely tolerate jumping out of my car to take exposures. Jupiter is prominently displayed in the photograph along with the Orion and Taurus constellations and the Pleiades star cluster. Exposure was 20 s at f:2.8, ISO 2,500. Focal length was set at 19mm.
