The central New South Wales coast of Australia is known for its beautiful beaches and its inland lakes. While on holiday at the sleepy Copacabana seaside town, I was drawn to the starry sky above the distant headland and the roaring waves rolling towards the beach front. The Southern Cross constellation is on the top right hand side of the sky. The long exposure also captured a shooting star across the sky.
