In the city of Hurricane, Utah 600 north crosses a wash that runs to the Virgin river. It is lined with cottoonwood trees and is home to a large aray of flora and fauna that gravitate to the water it provides. During a stormy night I was driving around looking for new places to get pictures after I had gotten a few from my favorite locations. I stopped here and walked down to where I could look across at the trees and the lightning behind them. I was interested to see that the lightning seemed to strike in nearly the same place on the ridge to the northeast time afer time.
